Jobs For Budgies

You might think that budgies can’t work, but that’s wrong, budgies can work. Besides, all livings can work, but each living has its own job. Budgies have special jobs. In this article, we’ll talk about the jobs that budgies can do and how useful it is to let your budgie do these jobs. Budgie lovers may think of letting budgies work as a punishment, but no. When a budgie works, it exercises and this is good for its health. Besides, budgies love working. So, it’s okay to let your budgie work.

Cleaning

If a small amount of solid foods fell on the ground and you want to clean it, you can let your budgie clean it with its beak. However, the food must be safe for budgies to eat as the budgie won’t only clean it, it’ll eat it and there are many foods that are dangerous for budgies and may fall on the ground. For example, let’s say that you were peeling potatoes and a small piece of peel fell on the ground. Then, you’ll want to let your budgie clean it, but raw potatoes are harmful to budgies. So, you won’t let your budgie clean it, you’ll have to clean it by yourself, but if some flour fell on the ground, your budgie can safely clean it.

Separating Stuff

You can easily train your budgie to seperate stuff like black-eyed beans from lima beans or kidney beans from lentils. The training can be done at home, then, your budgie will be able to seperate stuff. I wrote an article about home training your budgie for this chore. However, some people think that it’s a useless chore, although, you’ll need it. Let’s say that you have a seed mix and you want to separate millets from oats, but you don’t want to separate seed by seed. In that case, you’ll train your budgie for the separating chore and it’ll separate the seeds. Of course, it’ll eat some seeds, but it’s like a reward for your feathered friend.

Carrying Things

Although many things are heavy and large for budgies, there are small things that budgies can carry. You can home train your budgie for carrying things. Then, your budgie will be able to carry things. Budgies can be helpful when carrying things. For example, you can chop down some tomatoes or peppers and your budgie will pick up each piece, then, throw it into a pot or bowl, whatever you choose.

Entertainment

While many people think that when budgies entertain their owners, they don’t work, but the truth is that entertainment is also a job. Many people pay for entertainment like watching movies, going to the zoo, and more. Budgies can give their owners daily entertainment by paying a small amount of money. Budgies can live up to fifteen years, so, they may give you fifteen years of daily entertainment, which of course, is better than a visit to the zoo or watching movies. I believe that entertaining people is a good job for budgies and this is true, entertaining people is the easiest and best job for budgies.
